Generally, most people do not know the difference between translation and interpretation. Interpretation consists in transferring an oral message heard in one language and retransmitted to another. In other words, it is about the oral reinterpretation of a phrase spoken in another language. Interpretation includes categories different from those related to translation. The most common type of interpretation is conference interpretation, simultaneous, or consecutive interpretation. But there is also interpretation in the public sector (hospitals, courts, etc.), business, and diplomatic interpretation and interpretation of sign language. The interpreter listens to the voice of their interlocutor in the source language and reproduces the message in the target language, so that the listener can understand it.
